- Gentle reader: I moved to Portland on Sept 16 2007 after nine years in columbus, Oh. I spent very little time here before moving because i am a daredevil and take after my mother in that respect. People reassure me that portland is great and it will be ok. this blog is about my discoveries.

what? how much flipping snow is on the ground? is there a giant magnet that i don't know about in portland? is it pulling all these cars off course? jesus. stay inside.
I remember when this happened. Everyone here: "Ha, look at those fools down there!" and then half of Seattle got knocked out a few weeks later, no power, no trolleys, no lights, and there were much more worse accidents. I liked how it was all new cars smashing about. Drive on!
