I saw Lil Mama perform on Showtime at the Apollo and my head nearly exploded. SHE IS SO COOL and has completely and utterly won me over. I like that song...

bounceback here from CFF; i myself grew up in columbus ohio. glad you're into pinball. your blog is pretty cool, it's nice to relive a newcomer's discovery of the city. you should revisit the crazyflipperfingers.com site if you haven't recently-- it's been updated quite a bit. we have a good user-editable google map of pin locations going, a message board, news and blogs, and we're trying to put the word out about the new site and get people more active. there are tons of ballers in portland but it seems most of them, like you, are intimidated by more experienced players. while that's part of the idea (we do want the skills to be feared and respected,) we also just LOVE pinball and want other people to love it too. any CFF'r will usually be friendly and answer questions or talk ball with anyone who's interested. and we don't mind having rivals either. the site now offers a great way for people to have direct conversation with us and other non-member players, whether you like us or not.
anyway-- we meet every other sunday (that means tomorrow.) you should come to a meeting and check it out, if not this week then some other time. sign up on the message board and give us some feedback! spread the word.

oh yeah-- there's a G&R pin at Plan B on SE 8th and madison, and there was or is a funhouse at the SE tiny's, and a bride of pinbot at the NE tiny's on MLK. go get 'em.
